West Point, NE – Join us in welcoming the newest member to the BankFirst team! Mindi Linder joined our West Point team on Monday, December 5th.

Mindi grew up in West Point, and is a graduate of West Point Jr. Sr. High. She received her Associates of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Northeast Community College.

She began her professional career as an insurance agent and in February of 2003 she opened her own agency, Linder Insurance & Appraisals in West Point. In 2012, she sold her agency to Summit Ag Inc. and joined their staff as a Personal & Commercial Insurance Agent/Manager – also serving as Interim Human Resources Manager from 2019 – 2022. She recently made the transition into banking and began her position as Loan Officer for BankFirst in West Point.

Mindi and her husband Sean moved back to the West Point area when they started their family. Sean owns Northeast Instant Rain and Sod in Oakland and they have two daughters – Alexandra and Samantha. Alexandra is the K-12 vocal music teacher at West Point Beemer Public Schools and Samantha is a student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, majoring in elementary education. Her and her family are active members at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point, where Mindi teaches pre-k through 2nd grade Christian Education. Mindi also enjoys singing with the church choir , is on the Praise Team, and is a member fo the West Point P.E.O Chapter EO, which is an International Philanthropic Organization that supports women seeking to further their education.

In the summer she enjoys boating and in the fall, they like to go hiking and watch Husker sports.
